Amie Schaumberg

Having appeared as the fairy queen, Artemis, in last year's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Amie is thrilled to join Shakespeare on the Green again. As she spends most of her time teaching literature, bringing The Bard’s words from page to stage in this unique production has been—to steal a phrase— “such stuff as dreams are made on.” Amie would like to thank her friends and family for their support.

Ariel
Cora is excited to play Ariel in her second Shakespeqare play. She has done theatre for three years, and enjoyes playing tennis, volleyball and reading on her down time. She is very eager to play Marilla in the upcoming Anne of Green Gables play this summer.
Ella Voltz

Ella is excited to perform in her second Shakespeare play. When she isn't on stage, Ella enjoys reading books and hosting parties for her friends. You can see Ella again in Anne of Green Gables this summer in the role of Anne. She is also excited to direct her first show in the fall, Seussical Jr, with StageTime Theatre School. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her acting passion.
Bridger Johnson

Bridger is excited to return to acting after a small hiatus to pursue lightwork for the theater. He enjoys spending time with friends and engaging in creative activities such as writing and playing games while also making time to focus on his acedemics. Bridger loves performing as Caliban and is overjoyed to see how well the two-actor character has turned out thanks to the wonderful directors.
Alexander Randall

Alexander is very excited to be part of the tempest at Chewelah center of the arts. He has recently worked with Chewelah center of the arts as the barracuda in finding Nemo junior. When he isn’t on stage Alexander is practicing martial arts at Bradley’s taekwondo, he wants to thank his parents for always picking him up from curricular activities.

Mike relishes his return to live theatre! In the past, Mike played the psychiatrist in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and portrayed the accountant in "The Odd Couple" at Galveston's Strand Theater. In his spare time, Mike enjoys reading sci-fi and history. Mike is a father and grandfather…
Clint Kirry

Clint and his family (one wife, four children) have called Chewelah home since 2008. Clint’s local credits include The Snake in The Diary of Adam and Eve, Rooster Hannigan in Annie, Ray-Bud Turpin in Dearly Departed, Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone, the villainous Dr. Neville Craven in The Secret Garden, and the eaten-by-a-plant dentist, Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors.
Andrew Church-Brown

Andrew is very excited to be in the tempest for his production with centerstage. When Andrew is not acting he is playing the guitar or football. Andrew will be leaving just 4 days after the final performance to serve the country in the United States Navy.
Terri Tomlinson

Terri Tomlinson is a local actor, writer, and director. She currently serves as board member and Grant writer for the Pend Oreille Players Association. Previous favorite roles include Agatha Trunchbull in Matilda! and The Wicked Witch of the West. Terri is excited to be making her debut with Center Stage Productions in the Tempest and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Tana Spencer

Tana is excited to be a part of the Chewelah Performing Arts Production of Shakespeare on the Green's The Tempest. Tana spends her time working for her church, volunteering, visiting her local coffee shop haunts and playing with her dog and cats. She is most grateful to her family and friends who have encouraged her on this new adventure. Enjoy!
Joshua Rochester

Joshua is excited to be in the Tempest, he was currently Clarence, in "It's a Wonderful Life", radio show. He has a Minor in Acting Theater and Film from BYU-I, acted in several college plays and skits. Trained in Alba Emoting and Story telling. Acted/produced 4 Films for the College Film Festivals, winning 2 awards. He loves spending time and having fun with his amazing 7 kids & wife Rozlyn.
Chuck Ritchie

Chuck has been involved with stage productions throughout his life, including theater during his school years, organizing and producing music festivals, running live music venues, and now as the station manager at KCHW 102.7 Northern Lights Public Radio in Chewelah. He is also a founding member and current president of the Chewelah Creative District, working to support the creative community in the area.

Once again, doing the Comic Relief thing. Started with Flute/Sally. Then did a flight attendant in Budget Airlines Flight 711. Earnie the cabbie in Wonderful Life. Then Dewdrop Frye Junior, always playing games on his iPhone. Now it's Thomas, a drunken comic, stranded among some interesting companions!

Dave is adding to his acting resume by attempting Shakespeare for the first time and was fortunate to be cast in a role where he has only three lines to memorize. He should have them down pat by the time The Tempest opens !
Kathryn Patton

Being involved in theater since she was just a girl, Kathryn has vast experience in theater and would just as well be in the chorus as have a leading role…just put her on a stage! Make-up, costume design, lighting design, chief cook and bottle washer, directing, and musical direction are some of the many titles she has held. She would like to thank the Center of the Arts for believing in her wacky ideas such as the Playbill, the one-act play festival, and the Christmas radio show. And thank you, Paula, for sharing your creativity!
Gibson Kondelik

Gibson has been acting since he was in third grade. His first debut performance was with Stage Time theatre in Sponge Bob Jr. He has gone on to act in many other Stage Time performances, his favorite role so far has been Hermie in Rudolph, the red nose, reindeer Jr and the Wall in a Midsummer nights dream last summer. He is very excited to be apart of another summer Shakespeare play.

Debby has been involved with the Center for the Arts since joining the Board of Directors in 2016 as Treasurer & Grant writer. She returned to the stage last summer after a nearly 30 year hiatus – as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at last year’s Shakespeare on the Green. She also recently directed the musical Church Basement Ladies in May and is looking forward to the One-Act Play Festival in November. She loves working with such a bunch of talented people and is glad that hubby Don gives her the freedom to come out and play!

Kris has played in a few other shows, and is excited to play in her first Shakespeare play as the Goddess Juno. On her down time, she enjoys sewing, playing pickleball, reading, and picking Huckleberries with friends.

Tayler is thrilled to make her stage debut in The Tempest as an elemental. This is her very first play and she is excited to grow as a performer and pursue more roles in the future, especially combing her love for dance and theater. Tayler thanks everyone who supported her as she tries new things!

Elizabeth is 15 years old, she is a competitive figure skater with the Lilac City Figure Skating Club and she does karate at Bradley’s Taekwondo. She wanted to join the play to make new friends and she also likes to perform and it’s not on skates! Ha-ha

Emma is excited to be a part of "The Tempest", this being her first acting part in a play. Emma loves dance and was in Ballet for 7 years, she has always enjoyed performing on stage. She looks forward to having opportunities for more acting parts in the future. She is currently working on learning to play the Ukulele and Irish Banjo.

Hadley is 9 years old and has been acting since the 1st grade. Her first role being a sea anemone in the Stage Time performance of Sponge Bob. She has loved being apart of the theatre community and her most favorite role so far has been Dolly in Rudolph, the red nose reindeer Jr. This will be her second summer with center stage performances and she can’t wait to unleash her inner fairy again!
Samantha Davis

Samantha is 14 years old. She loves art, music and does taekwondo at Bradley’s Taekwondo. She is stepping out of her comfort zone and trying theater for the first time!
Madison Edwards

The tempest is Madison's first play. She's always been interested in theatre, musicals been ng her favorite. She had a blast working with everyone and is glad to have made so many new friends.
Paula Randall

Paula has been in theater in one way or another since she was a small child. Whether it was putting on plays for family, acting with a troupe or hanging out backstage at an opera house while her sisters performed one ballet or another. Watching a show come together has always been such a magical process. She is so glad to have found a place to create a little magic of her own.
Larah Ritchie

Larah has several indie filmmaking credits including director, assistant director, screenwriter, and script supervisor. She began blocking scenes in high school & chartered her school’s thespian society. She recently performed in the KCHW Radio Production of “It’s a Wonderful Life” and is slated to direct KCHW’s upcoming Halloween-themed, live audio drama. Larah is also a graphic designer & created the promotional graphics and website for tonight’s production.
Mariana Thrasher

Mariana is a “behind the scenes” kind of gal who enjoys helping the wonderful cast and crew know where they need to be and when they need to be there. This is her first year helping with productions at the Center for the Arts. You previously may have seen Mariana doing the quick scene changes for the Church Basement Ladies or switching out mics during the 2025 Chewelah’s Got Talent.

Elaine Childress is a local photographer blending technical skill with heartfelt artistry. Trained in Fashion and Advertising Photography, she captures bold portraits and candid moments. Now a full-time mom, Elaine creates during quiet moments, taking on select projects that reflect her love for storytelling and community, proving creativity thrives even in life’s margins.
